Chicken, more family, and books…oh my!
Catching up on photos again!
After going to Mass Saturday night with my family, we got some fried chicken and went out to the shelter overlooking our local lake. I’m pretty sure this fried chicken is the best in the world. Anytime I’ve ever eaten fried chicken anywhere but the county in Indiana where I grew up, the chicken legitimately just does not compare. I don’t know what it is.
Family gathering in Indianapolis—just because! Lots of fun!
I definitely had a “you know you are a designer when…” moment when I walked into my cousin’s newly remodeled house for the first time. My immediate thought was, “These lines are fantastic! And I love the colors!” The flowers everywhere were a lovely touch, too, and they’re what made the cut for Sunday.
And today we have stack of books (in no particular order, except possibly biggest on the bottom) that are representative of my “to read” and/or “re-read” list. My favorite novel of all time (that I’m currently re-reading for about the 10th or so time…), is at the bottom—Redeeming Love. Just wanted to point that out. 🙂 I’d love to tell you more about it if you want to hear more about it.
