“Make visible what, without you, might perhaps never have been seen.”
I strive to live finding and presenting the true, the good, and the beautiful to the world. Give me some truth, some goodness, and some beauty, and I’d love to lay it out on a page for you. (Even just some truth and goodness will suffice—I’ll help out by making it beautiful for you!)
I recently served two years as a full time campus missionary with FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students. I’ve shifted my focus (haha…no pun originally intended) to serving the world with my design skills.
My design background is primarily in publication design, and I love it! I’m continually looking forward to expanding my horizons, though. The internet is not planning on leaving anytime soon.
Most of my (indoor) hobbies involve paper. I’m working on learning calligraphy. I love making homemade greeting cards. I have occasional photo-darkroom withdrawals. I do read e-books, but I still love the feel of paper between my fingers.
I’ve discovered that I’m already a success:
“To laugh often and much;
to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children;
to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends;
to appreciate beauty;
to find the best in others;
to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition;
to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.
This is to have succeeded.”
